Receiving guests since April 01, 2003, the Blue Moon Resort (www.bluemoonlasvegas.com) will usher in a new era for gay men looking for an exclusive full service male resort.  Just five blocks from “The Strip,” located south of Sahara Avenue (“So-Hara” or “So-Hare”) at the intersection of Interstate 15, the resort will offer an incredible array of services and amenities unlike any others found in gay establishments.

Completed at a cost of $1.5 million, the boutique-style resort boasts 33 deluxe rooms and 11 parlor suites.  The 400 square foot deluxe rooms are furnished with either one king size bed or two double beds, all with custom made headboards.  All the beds are luxuriously triple-sheeted and topped with plush comforters in the European tradition.  The Mexican tiled bathrooms have a tub/shower combo with pedestal sinks.  The 800 square foot, 2-room parlor suites are furnished with one triple-sheeted king size bed, also with a pillow-top mattress and a down comforter.  Separating the living and the sleeping quarters is a set of French doors.  The 400 square foot living room is furnished with a couch, chairs, coffee table, writing desk and two end tables.  The spacious suites also feature a gargantuan walk-in closet and an expanded Mexican tiled bathroom with a Roman tub and shower.  Wired for satellite service, all Blue Moon guests will enjoy a 19” television housed in a striking rattan or leather embellished custom armoire along with 2-line phones with Data-port capabilities for Internet access.

Referred to as “a-moon-ities”, not “amenities”, by the staff, the resort comes complete with:

• Coffee House that serves a wide variety of gourmet coffees and teas, homemade soups, salads and gourmet sandwiches made fresh daily on the premises.
• Media Room with a 62” flat-screen television and satellite service offering a full menu of premium channels.
• Logo/retail shop offering sundries and Blue Moon souvenirs.
• Tour and Travel Concierge Desk which will professionally arrange all off-site adventures such as Grand Canyon excursions, helicopter rides over “The Strip,” whitewater rafting, horseback riding, show tickets and dinner reservations just to name a few.  (The resort strictly adheres to the “You want it, you got it” hospitality creed.)
• State-of-the-art 400-square foot relaxation steam spa.
• Mail, fax and copy services.
• On-call professional masseur.
• Airport and “Strip” shuttle service.

Aside from the above-listed “a-moon-ities” and the stellar customer service, the focal point of Blue Moon is sure to be the lavishly landscaped lagoon-style pool area.  Surrounded by a 2,600 square foot deck with raised planter gardens, the pool will feature a 10-man Jacuzzi fully enclosed in a private rock grotto cave.  The foliage-laden tropical Jacuzzi Grotto will measure 12 feet high by 20 feet wide and will have a 10-foot high waterfall cascading over its top into the lower pool.  In addition, two 8-foot square private poolside cabanas will be available for hourly and daily rental.

The resort prides itself on providing the best for its discerning guests.
